After some weeks from the first start in February, things get accelerated and the winter is gone. The tomatoes and eggplants that were planted at the beginning of march are in good shape and need to be move to some bigger pots.
So today was planting day and I had to move all the tomatoes from there “open space” environment to a single pot environment. And I guess they will feel quite happy about the move. On purpose I pant them again very deep on the stem as they build out new roots from the stem easily. That way they get much stronger and build up veggie muscles.
All in all I think I will end up with about 20 plants again, this year I also plan to not only plant under the roof to protect them from rain, but also plant some of the left overs due to space constraints (max. 15 will fit under the roof) just somewhere in the garden without roof. Lets see how that goes.
